Pete Turton
Gigging again, and want to use a 3 channel sound to light unit for the band. Used to just plug it in to a spare out-put on the front speakers, but we now have some Peavey tops and subs. Pluging the wire into the rear of the top speakers (15" with horn) sometimes gets the bass to respond, but not the middle or high frequency channels. Could this be because of the cross-over system in the set-up, or just not getting the suitable frequencies required? If so is there possibly an out-put on the mixing desk that could be used? If a CD is plugged direct into the sound/light unit, all 3 channels work fine.
cheddatom
You use a line-out from a CD player to drive the unit? If so, just use a line-out from your mixer.
