GUI101
Hi All I was thinking of replacing the driver in my Trace 1818 cab, but I don't have much idea what is good aside the obvious (celestion and eminence)..... I checked out their websites and they don't do 18inch speakers unless you are a manufacturer and buy in bulk. anyone have any ideas or advice?? cheers

GUI101
cheers for the help guys. I'll check out Lean and Bluearan this week. the main reason for the potential replacement is that the current driver is starting to lose its tone and sound pretty muddy. cheers Gui

GUI101
I will get the existing driver checked over before making my desicion to replace or not as it is definately sensible to do so...... however checking out the above mentioned companies (Lean and Blue Aran) I have come across the Eminence Sigma pro 18, can enyone tell me if this would be any good as i'm after a warm yet clear low tone.... cheers

GUI101
Cheers for the replies. have found some more suitable drivers, and had a good chat with the guys at Blue Aran, and I'm edging towards a Fane Colossus 18B. has any one used one of these or have any other recommendations? Cheers Gui.
