JTUK
You like swapping out your basses. I am still getting into your old 5er. It is now my main goto Cheers
sshorepunk
I've been good of late, since I moved from 5 to 4 :-) Just thinning the herd for now, life changes make it neccesary! Would rather not be doing this! Yeah, that Sei is nice! Tony
JTUK
It really is... it takes me a while to get to grips with basses and kit and I just love the more woody vintage vibe all round. I have a really pretty and fancy blond quilted Sei 5 and I take both to gigs..but the one I use the most and the one that gets the most attention is your old one. All I have done is added a quality tort plate from Sims and it looks, plays and sound great.
molan
Ummmm sea foam green with a tort guard, one of my very favourite Fender colour combinations. Just spent an entire weekend totally GAS free (apart from a white Aggie head case to go with my DB750!), come home & find this waiting for me on BC. . . molan
It's funny but although these have obviously been around a while I've never really noticed them before and now there's this nice one here and a sunburst on EBay as well! When it says 'polished satin' does that mean it's smooth satin finish or is it glossed (I'm assuming the former but thought I'd double check)? Also - the inevitable question, do you know roughly what the weight is?
sshorepunk
I couldnt find polished satin?? Not sure on weight, but comparative to my other basses, it's light! Slightly downsized body vs a regular jazz Been asked if I will ship overseas. Yes, provided you pay shipping and I would have to source a cheap hard case. I can ship though a local music shop Tony
sshorepunk
I may put this on ebay, take off the ebay fee's, I guess that takes it to 1250! Tony

I'm guessing that simply by adding satin as a description that means it isn't a hard gloss?
