Bobby K
Did yours survive the tour, Bobby? This one is another of the "eleven" (a 004, as opposed to the 003 you saw). Planning on holding onto the one you saw (and the natural 2000). I know, I know!
Oh yes mate, she sang her whole way through the tour and is still in great nick now, a most treasured bass Recorded a couple of shows and the BB1200 sounds superb in the mix, compared to the Precision! Yes, not surprised you're keeping hold of that one, not to mention the 2000 ()
Bobby K
Good to know you and your 1200 have bonded. Get around to lowering its action a fraction? Will hold on to three each, of the 1200 and 2000 models, including the 003 you saw. If I ever did consider selling that natural 2000, I'd know who to PM!
I need the truss tool to sort the action out properly really mate. The bow is definitely much less pronounced after using your tool (pardon the expression!! ) but could do with more tweakage definitely. I can't really comfortably lower the saddles any more until I've tightened the truss a little more. Once the truss is right, may not even have to lower the saddles. Yes mate, that 2000 figures in my long term plan for sure Anyway, enough of me and my 1200 Noel is a connoisseur of these fine basses people and is an excellent chap - you could do a lot worse than buy from him
gary mac
I keep looking at this thread as I'm missing mine, even though it's only a few weeks since I sold it. These old Yamahas are cracking basses.
