giblett123 Posted January 23, 2011 Share Posted January 23, 2011 (edited) G'day all, I recently bought one of Alans "Graft" basses and having totally blown away I'm going for a full spec build on another, this one is a kind of jazz shaped body with a "PJ" config. Specs: 34" scale 5 string, ash body + dirty ash finish, wenge & padauk laminate neck, Mac ebony board, ACG EQ01 preamp, hipshot type A bridge, hipshot ultralite tuners, single coil ACG in the bridge position, split coil "P" type in an RFM housing on the neck. The ash in particular on my bass is crazy light, the body is substantially lighter than the all wenge neck! The bass can't be much more than 7 lbs, at least, that's what it weighs on our crappy bathroom scales. It feels half the weight of my Shuker!
