charic Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Has anyone had a fiddle with the line6 tonecore developer kit? Very tempted, but I've not worked in assembler before so I'm wary. Quote
EskimoBassist Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Haven't had a go, but am interested as to what the possibilities are of this pedal. There's some interesting notes on the web about it. Quote
charic Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 Supposedly as powerful as a pod 2.0 as a single effect. Quote
Dood Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I nearly did actually Charic! I wanted to be able to get my basic signal path in to one box (well in theory at least) but I couldn't find out if it could handle dual signal paths - I gave up and when back to my hardware! Quote
EskimoBassist Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Interesting stuff from http://pkeffects.com/ - would love to have a proper go with the Syn-the-si-zer. Quote

I'm starting to shy away from this now based on the fact that it's the kind of thing I may play with for a couple of months and then just sell (probably at a massive loss). Also realised just how much work would be involved in making anything that was anything more than the most basic. Still a possibility but am very unsure on this one. Shame because theres a potential to (possibly) make some cash out of it too. Was going to try and make pedal to simulate the sound the bassist from muse gets. Quote

Just emailed asking how hard it was Quote
