Clarky
Seems awfully cheap for a real '63P and the colour looks too vibrant in the (admittedly) low quality photo. Too good to be true? Probably http://london.craigslist.co.uk/msg/2158365205.html
EssentialTension
At that price you'd think he'd throw in a set of strings.
setekh
Incredibly expensive basses with low quality pictures. And a colour combo that recently got released as a Squier. Not only that, but the guy's phrasing indicates he problably knows the value of this kind of instrument. I'd play it safe and let this one go. bumnote
I dont remember Graham Gouldman playing anything other than a Ricky but I assume if you collect you get to see him. I doubt hes selling a fake Its a bloody minefield out there, every time I see something that takes my fancy, someone points out a potential problem

Easy!

jakenewmanbass
I have a friend that writes with Graham, I've met him myself a few times, if anyone is seriously looking at this I can check out the veracity.
Clarky
"I used this Precision on many tracks with my band 10cc in the UK from 1972 until the late 1980’s" We had it wrong all along. The bass player in 10cc was obviously Andy Gouldman, not Graham
Mickeyboro
I did a feature on GG's guitar collection for Guitar & Bass mag in 2009 and it wasn't one he chose to exhibit. In fact he said he much preferred Jazz Basses.

wesfinn
So I emailed about the guitar expressing an interest in this and a guy called Andy McDermott (ebay seller soundcity20) emailed back saying it was still available. I asked for more pictures and he sent me the pictures from the recently ended red sparkle precision which recently went on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1963-Fender-Precisio...d1#ht_590wt_910 haha.
