Kev Posted January 23, 2008 Author Posted January 23, 2008 (edited) indeed it is, with the gain cranked down it works nicely as a mid distortion too and the shape knob (tone) is the most responsive iv ever used! i just cant afford to keep it, doesnt help that its the missus's birthday, anniversary and valentines day all in the space of a month Edited January 23, 2008 by BassManKev

MythSte Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008
clearly aint gunna get a sale on here, am i? most hated basschatter at the moment, for daring to make harmless comments in sale threads itl be on ebay when i can be arsed making a listing thanks again
I dont normally get involved in things like this, and this is me trying to be as diplomatic as possible, but you do come across as just awkward in a lot of for sale threads Kev. Please dont consider this an attack more so a constructive criticism. But if you dont agree with how someones doing something, maybe drop them a subtle PM pointing out if you know where they might be able to get it cheaper or something. People Appreciate things like that. People, However do not appreciate thoughtless comments, and a lot of the time even off topic comments in general if there trying to sell something. A Bump in the form of a gear compliment is quite a different matter, before you go down that route. If im patronising i apologise, but i can only presume your not aware of these things. Heres with hope you un-become basschats most wanted!
Roady Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008
haha yes very much so, and sorry dude thought i'd just point it out i got mine for £90 inc postage and didn't get any customs. I ordered one several days ago, with the mid toggle on it, and im just hoping it manages to sneak through without being nabbed by parc£lforc£ and me being forced to pay stupid import duty, vat, and that ridiculous handling charge on it.
Kev Posted January 26, 2008 Author Posted January 26, 2008 suprised that you chose to get the mid toggle, suppose it is only a fiver extra, but for me the whole character of the pedal is the mid scoop
Roady Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008
suprised that you chose to get the mid toggle, suppose it is only a fiver extra, but for me the whole character of the pedal is the mid scoop
I just thought I may as well get it just incase I want an extra bit of versatility out of it When the toggles off you get the original circuit, so nothing lost I suppose (except £5!)
umph Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 i have the mid toggle to i prefer it off most the time or else it gets way to imposing on everything and owns the mix
Kev Posted January 26, 2008 Author Posted January 26, 2008 actually i emailed the guy last week asking him if it was at all possible if the mid mod switch could be added to my pedal he replied that he actually would fit it for free, providing that i paid for shipping, great guy. however, i just dont think i would have used it, so i decided against it
