Zoom H2 - Crikey It's Good!

Just picked up Toasted's Zoom H2 (thanks Joe) and I am amazed at how good it sounds. After downloading Reaper, I hooked it up to my PC and, after a couple of minutes setting levels and working out the basics of Reaper, recorded three tracks (one mandolin rythym track, one lead mandolin track, double bass) and finished my first tune!

I think this will be really a really useful bit of kit, both for recording gigs and rehearsals, as well as more studio based stuff. Well chuffed!

being using these at uni to capture outdoor ambience and such, they really are a great piece of kit

Got the H4n, and they are brilliant, been recording drums for a mate with it, snare, kick and the device itself as an overhead. I swear I've heard way worse results from studios....
