rickybrandrett Posted January 28, 2011 Share Posted January 28, 2011 (edited) Hi, i have recently been given a fender precision fretless which according to the id number is from 1979. As much as i would love to keep the bass i need money more than a second bass. So i was wondering if anyone who knew anything about this bass could kindly pass the infomation on to me and if anyone knew what price i should be looking for that would help out a lot. the bass has been sat and not played for a good few years but is in full working order i have taken it appart and cleaned all i could off it but it still has a few scuffs and what not. it has a crack in the finnish but it is not all the way around the body so i guess it is just the finnish thats cracked. i have uploaded a pic of the bass and a close up of the crack, they should be bellow. So for whoever it concerns here are some more clearer pics for you. It will be going up on ebay tomorrow but i will take it off if someone makes me a reasonable offer. the serial number on the body is S899542 and the same on the neck as you can see from the pics.
