Hot Tub Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 I'm sure I read somewhere that there were no effects or processing at all on the original. He plugged his bass straight into an old guitar amp with a torn speaker cone, miked it, and the rest is history. When I play it, I back off the bass, push up the mids and treble, and add a bit of o/d. It's never gonna be the same, but it's passable.
