FS: BROKEN SYB-5 for parts/repair

I've got a [b]broken[/b] Boss SYB-5 that I'm looking to get rid of. I've no idea what's wrong with it, but I sent it to Max at [sfx] a while ago and he thinks it's a problem with one of the chips. The signal passes through when bypassed but the signal disappears completely when you turn the pedal on even though it powers up just fine.

It must be worth something to someone, even if it's just as an enclosure for a DIY project, so let's say £15 posted?

It's in mint condition with the original box, it just doesn't work .
