A tune with me playing a £50 P bass!

Hi there, just thought Id share this production that my good mate Daco has just sent me, he is a house producer, I do alot of live bass work in his studio.

I used his real cheap precision on it. makes you wonder.

Umm im not sure what the producer used. It went thru a compressor when tracked, sounds like its got a touch of envelope filter on to me. And EQ - compression, most important tools in production...

Umm thanks for the kind words. I amnot sure what the producer put the bass thru effects wise, but you sound about right.

I have since just got my dirty hands on a great sounding '73 Precision, pickups rewound by Bare Knuckle... And..... Just won a 'gorgeous '73 Jazz which is original,arriving here in a few days! Boy am i excited. So, from going thru various tasty basses in the last coupla years, Ive landed with a '95 Stingray 5, and some vintage Fenderage!

Let you know when Ive done some more session and will post, post haste.
