Gust0o Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Your nose for a bargain is impressive. Mine, sadly, is blocked. Quote
gary mac Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Nice result Wayne. Even if it turned out to be an unplayable dog (which I'm sure it's not), it would be worth it for all the spare parts. Quote
hillbilly deluxe Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Paint it blue and cut the headstock ala Ryder then it will be cool. Quote
jezzaboy Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Good wee basses them and for £25!!! I think that you must be a closet Scotsman WaynemcPunkdude. And your favourite finish as well. Jez Quote
Cat Burrito Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 To an untrained eye it appears sunburst. I'm guessing you're not keen to keep the original finish? Quote
waynepunkdude Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 I didn't spot the bargain myself it was on this very forum (turns out I paid £30 ) http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=102378 TBH the reason I get a lot of bargains is because I travel around the country with work local pick up isn't a problem I just pay then pick up when I'm passing. I'm going to keep it as is, my first gigging bass was a sunburst Squier P and as much as I don't like the colour it reminds me of that bass and brings back good memories. Quote
waynepunkdude Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 Had a play with it sounds solid plays well, tuned it to C#, good times. Quote
