Kev
seems very swish, boss's answer to the pod x3? case looks a bit sh*t though
mikeh
I was looking at these last week, I'll get an email from Roland when they come into the Uk. Cant wait...
Kev
i love the effects loop blend idea, and i like how boss have finally put a usb connection on!
mikeh
Well I sold my ME50 B to get another GT6B, all ready to get one then the email came from Boss, went and had a look and decided to wait for one of these. For me the GT6B was the best effects pedal I'd owned so these must be good.

dr.funk
But that website is for schools etc., it is the educational divison of Digital Village, hence why the prices are low, they don't have VAT. Looks like it could be pretty powerful but I have to agree with kev the case looks so cheap!
EskimoBassist
This pedal really sounds like the sh*t doesn't it?! But tbh i dont think it looks very well made at all and the GT6B looks more appealing to me. It really doesn't seem to live up the bomb proof nature of Boss pedals from the look of the casing. Kev
looks like it has the casing of those new cheaper boss multi effects, the me20 or whatever they are certainly on looks, id choose the X3 anyday, il be interested to see how the two compare in features Edited January 27, 2008 by BassManKev

Yep the colour looks a bit naff, but I think it looks sturdy enough. I've got the GT-6B which I think is fantastic so am really looking forward to having a go on the GT-10B
Kev
its £350 odd according to a google search, some shops are doin preorders now
mikeh
TBH I was expecting it to be around £500 so any less is ok with me. I'll certainly be buying one when it comes out.
Kev
just outta interest why would you choose this over an Line 6 X3
mikeh
In the past I've been prettymuch underwhelmed by the stuff. I had a Bass Pod Live for a while and although the amp models and distortions where ok the effects where rubbish IMHO of course. Where as the GT6B has always impressed me, I had 3!!! Kev
i do prefer the gt6b to the xtlive effects wise, but from what iv heard the x3 has been quite an improvement

I've just started using the amp modeling on it and have been very impressed with it. I think £350 is very reasonable I was expecting more. Toasted
If I was going to get a multieffect (and at that time the underword was in a cold snap) I'd get the new TC one.
