bubinga5
Yeah you may be right as the Sig models seem to add some weight to the £... Whats the deal with Warwick... are none German made now.. There production costs must have gone down.. although Korean made basses are very good.. Why did they move.. lemmywinks
They're shifting the standard Corvettes over to Korea and releasing some Korean versions of sig basses, as you've found! The Rockbass range is brought up to spec and are now lovely to look at, much like a German Warwick in fact. As with the last lot of Rockbass 'Vettes, there are different price brackets (Basic, Premium etc.) Shame the prices aren't lower though. mart
The list price on the Korean P-Nut is about £1500 IIRC. There are still loads of German-made Warwicks, but they are increasing the number of Korean or Chinese made lines.
xilddx
Umm, P Nut uses 5 trings and a D-Tuner so I am at a loss how this can be described as a P Nut.
dwh87
I am sure the Warwick Korean models will still be of good quality. In my eyes they are just upgraded Rockbasses. The price of some of them is crazy. The signature models are all around £1600. With the way thing are going 90% of companies need a cheapish range of instruments to survive. Zon and Overwater have overseas built models now. Guys like Ken Lawrence can keep busy by working off word of mouth and charge $8000 a go. lee650
really nice, i played a warwick streamer jazzman5 for years and always wished for a NT version id love a full on PNUT but the price is just too much!!, these look good though, although just a version of the jazzman with SD pickups, not what i expected i really just want a stage 1 with MM/J pickups a great combo!! Gust0o
Nige is right - it's extending the licence some to call it a signature bass. Warwick provide P-Nut with one of course, and BGM did a review last year, though the price tag was £3000+ from memory. They looked at the TM 'Zulu Warrior' signature in the same feature.
