Hey chaps and chapesses, sad state of affairs, need the money to try and get myself on the road, therefore letting go my Ric,
i bought it from Robocorpse January 2010 and has been fantastic,
still in the same condition i got it,

I also purchased a pair of replacment strap buttons to allow this bass to use schaller strap locks (the proper rickenbacker ones, costing £10 each!!)
both pairs of buttons will be included in the sale.

Will weigh it tonight and get back to you on that,
the necks thinner than some of the other rics ive played on, but is a little larger than a modern 4003 not drasticly bigger though (was playing one in me local shop couple of days ago)

Also add: currently strung with a set of Nickel D'addaro's 45-100, put them on couple of nights ago because the strings were dead,

And cheers Pete, this is a truely lovely bass, and i will no doubt buy another in a couple of years when im more stable

The bass weighs in at about 7lb

EDIT: according to my scales, which i think are on the blink, will try it out on another set soon,
its probably a small touch more than that

Aghghhhhhh why cant this one be burgundy-glo!!! would have this off you NOW.

Im amazed this is still here for this price! shocking!
