LeftyBiskit Posted February 6, 2011 Share Posted February 6, 2011 Afternoon All, I thought I'd try a quick post before plunging onto the 'bay for a replacement. Friday nights gig -1st song in My qtron-(the old silver type)decides to throw a hissy fit bear in mind at this point its in bypass mode. I lost all of my tone and huge amounts of volume, so a quick fix is in order-just unplug the damn board-problem goes away-gig done everyone happy. yesterday i thought that i would have a look at the Qtron to see if I could find anything out. Pedal is fine when its engaged-then put into B/P mode and a noise similar to a decaying signal is heard-but obviously i'm not playing at any sort of volume at this time I've opened the pedal up to look for broken wires/dry joints but there is nothing obvious, I havent taken the pcb off yet though.
