I have owned this bass for just over a year and these machine heads are in good condition. Slight scratches and dinks in the ferrules from where I have taken them off using pliers, but apart from that these are as good as new. Only selling them as I have recently swapped them for Hipshot ultralites. No branding on them but I imagine they are either Grover/ Wilkinson/ Gotoh. The Gretsch that they came from was made by Fender in the Far East if this is of any help.
