lemmywinks
If it arrived like that, yeah. £40 is a 3rd of the initial price so the deal doesn't look quite as sweet with that factored in, especially as it wasn't anything to do with you. Was it couriered? Do you know what's wrong with it, is it the pup or something else? Might be worth posting a hi res pic on here of the control cavity. mart
If it turns out to be a problem with the pickup, not just the wiring, drop me a PM, cos I've got a spare set of MEC pickups that came out of my Rockbass.

mart
On all the Warwicks I've played I've only liked the middle position - both PUs on full. But that all changed when I got a $$, which has loads of usable sounds.

charic
Compared to the returns though? Your playing you 'nez at the moment anyway and you'll get to learn about active electronics

However, that's listening solo. In my last band I found my tone slotted into the mix better if I rocked back towards the bridge - 3/4 bridge, 1/4 neck. waynepunkdude
4 months on and it is my 'go to' bass, find it really easy to play doesn't match the tone of the MusicMan (there is £1K gap in price) but for at home it's amazing.
