Fireflye
'ello all Well I actually made the effort and signed up. Was a BW'er for a few months before the site became defunct, hopefully this one is not disappearing anytime soon! I'm a semi-noob bassist having picked one up again in April last year when I treated myself to a new Yamaha BB414 which I'm totally happy with. No GAS! Well that was until I was eyeing up a Geddy Lee Jazz recently, mussst resssist! Now looking for a good bass tutor to put me on the right path, so if anyone knows one in NE Wales, West Cheshire or maybe South Wirral, do let me know. Oh, and if you really want an insight into the type of person I am, I like Marmite and Marzipan. Expect to see that as an off-topic discussion soon. stingrayfan
Welcome back. I find this site a nice antidote to the other stuff I really should be doing! Those Yamaha BBs are great basses. No GAS, though? Hang around here long enough and you'll be Googling "G&L Tribute" and "Squier Vintage".
paul, the
Howdy, welcome back! I can't bare(sp?) marmite. I can eat mustard or horseradish from a spoon but a lick of marmite immediately scrunches up my face. I consider it a reflex-response for my spiritual wellbeing. Marzipan. Yum.
