mhuk Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 It might help if you put your location in your profile (and take an in-focus photo)
Mike Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 It also might help to write the advert properly, use punctuation, recognised spelling etc. You'll never sell anything with that approach.

I said sure and she gave me a Toymaster receipt for an Action Man doll dated from two years ago. That was awesome.

Up here they mostly give slightly musty clothes.
paul h Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Has the cutting out problem only occurred since your last attempt at a trade? Or did you forget to mention it before? Pedro1020 Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 (edited) lol Tanglewood owners must make a big loss in the second hand markets if the RRP's are £850 Post this on the bay if your not getting any interest..people buy anything there! You know I'm curious, any chance we can get a photo of this reciept? Also, re-word your ad. I couldn't understand it where does it begin & end. Edited January 28, 2008 by Pedro1020

yorks5stringer Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 If you enlarge the photo, you can count 9 Strings which would made this bass unique and well worth 850....not sure where you would source the strings from mind? PS a little hint Birdseye, if we check on your profile we can see you have already offered it twice before so it may be useful to revise your listing in light of all the comments. May be a clear photo of the receipt for 850 would convince one or two sceptics?

Machines Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Enough of ganging up on the poor chap... he's just trying to sell it ! If he did pay £850 for it then it isn't fair to make fun of him and make him seem dumb.
Sibob Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 the guy didn't reply to any of the posts on the other threads, i doubt he's gonna reply to this Si
andy67 Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Ok! I'll say it: there is a person here trying to sell us dodgy goods! its all fishy and I'll point the finger right at the blaggard - Captain birdy give it up!
EBS_freak Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008
SOLD! (it's mine)
Lies.
Waldo Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 You'd get a better response if you answered some questions and took some better pics? Why didn't you mention the fact that it's faulty the last two times you put it up for sale? Posting a scan of the reciept would go a long way to prove that you're not trying to deceive people too....
Beedster Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 I love a bit of light entertainment in the afternoon! This is like the good old BW old days. Mods, let us have a laugh and gang up on him; given that none of us have any cash it's probably the only reason we're looking at the For Sale forum anyway
