Grand Wazoo Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Phase Two... Bridge is fitted and now there's two choice of pickguards available, I have ordered both. Parchment Cream or.. White Pearloid My idea originally was to match exactly this template: Which of these is your favourite one? Quote
Kev Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Definitely the pearloid one , I'v always thought plain white pickguards look real cheap and nasty. Although if it was me, black all the way Quote
Clarky Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 First one, prearloid too Las Vegas, C&W for me. But before that you need to straighten out the bridge and pickups which have gone a bit skewiff Quote

ahpook Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 i read that as 'fay' pickguard and thought of something like this... Quote
MythSte Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Parchment for me, but then again I think I'm a bit boring sometimes... Quote

White will make it look too busy. Quote

Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 (edited) Trust me - I know about these things. What you need is an "aged" white pearl one. Like the white pearl, but a much better creamy colour, so it doesn't look like an Osmond's teeth. I had one of this colour made for my vintage white mustang and it looks the nuts. (as the young people say these days.) edit - pic added, please don't laugh at the Benny hat [attachment=71795:mikeystang.jpg] Edited February 10, 2011 by Jean-Luc Pickguard Quote
