Jam Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Welcome to the forum! Yamahas are excellent basses, and you'll have no problem playing metal on them once you get started. They're also quite versatile so if you decide to stray from THE METAL and fancy a bit of a slap (I get tempted from time to time...) then they're quite good for that too. This forum has a wealth of information, I wish it was around when I was a beginner! Quote
