Just thought I'd report back on the good doctors MusicMan Stingray
My guitar tech Had to adjust the truss rod as the neck was in serious need of attention, and gave the fretboard a good coating of lemon oil as it had dried out quiet a bit.
The frets didnt need stoning as I thought they might do at first.
With the neck now sorted he fitted a new set of Elites nickels 45-105 and lowered the action as low as it would go without buzzing, and finally replaced battery and the big G tuning peg with an original peg.
I.ll gig it tomorrow night and see how it sounds :)

Cheers Pete! The Ernie Ball MusicMan importers Strings And Things managed to locate a tuning peg for me.
Played it for the first time last night, absolutely amazing sound! :) Midrange punch really cuts through! I can see this old Precision player has been converted!! :)
