steve-soar
I'm thinking Schroeder 410 or 21012, does anyone have any suggestions? WaterofTyne, I would like to hear from you and any other Schroeder cab owners. If you want, check out the specs of the Crown amp and if you can think of any combinations of cabs, impedance, than please let me know. Cheers Steve. warwickhunt
If you are sensible with your gains the Schroder will have your ears bleeding way before you can possibly do your gear any damage. I tried WoT's and it had clarity where ever I stood in the room and that was with a 500 watt amp barely ticking over.
d-basser
Dr Bass cabs can handle a fair oomf of wattage i believe, 1000W ish on the bigger cabs
alexclaber
Whatever you like. The thermal power rating is irrelevant and the unquoted displacement limited power rating for 99% of cabs is far lower than your amp can put out. If you hear bad sounds turn down. RIM Basses
+1 on the Dr Bass cabs, you know it makes sense!
wateroftyne
Of course it depends what you're putting into it, and what you want out of it, but my Schro 21012L has covered all bases for me so far...
steve-soar
Hi WoT , I'm putting an ACG bass and a Squier Precision with EMG's through a Boss GT6B pedal board into the Crown power amp. I'm looking for a single cab solution and I hope the output of the GT6B is hot enough to drive the Crown amp. What do you think?
