chrismuzz
Alright folks/folkettes I've been slowly building up a collection for my pedalboard, and have decided that batteries are probably a little bit too much of a ballache. So in my attempts to make life easier I've been looking at a few of these power banks, but I'm not sure which one would be the best for me. All of my pedals are 9v so I don't need anything too special. What I do want is to make sure it's going to have enough outputs and enough power to run at least 7 pedals from, to add no noise/interference (or at least as little as possible) to my signal, to not have a fit if one of my pedals breaks down, and most importantly to be reliable! I dont ask for much do i? As always, any input would be greatly appreciated, cheers!
chrismuzz
I'm guessing most of the effects junkies are too busy tweaking to reply right now Anyone got any suggestions?
DanOwens
I use the Diago Powerstation [HERE] but many who aren't bothered by voltage just use the Dunlop DC Brick [HERE]. Others use the Johnny Shred Freak such as this one [HERE]. chrismuzz
Thanks for the responses, I have a Diago board, but held back on the powerstation so far as i heard daisy chaining your power may cause reliability issues. Might stick it in the maybe pile but I'm leaning more towards the Dunlop DC Brick at the moment. I've seen some cheaper versions of it out there but I'm not confident that they'll be as reliable. Also, any love for the Gator G-Bus 8?

chrismuzz
Diago do make some lovely stuff. I think if I like the Johnny, but it turns out unreliable after a while I'll get one
phil.i.stein
+1 on the diago. no problems with 12 pedals so far (including the 18v mxr blowtorch and 12v mb comp) i will be buying the johnny shredfreak as back-up.
ahpook
i've got a the aforementioned johnny shredfreak and also a bog-standard maplins 'block'style psu. to be honest i've found the switching supply from johnny shredfreak a little more prone to mains noise on-stage, but there's not a lot of difference in my mind. the switching unit is a lot smaller, so if space is a premium, it's deffo an option.
