Hello. I decided to start this for my own interest but I suppose it'll prove interesting for most of us.

What I'd like you to do is copy the form below and reply with it filled in. In a couple of weeks I'll collate the responses and we'll see what's out there!

-Your first bass is fairly self explanatory.
-Your go-to bass means the one bass you'd take to cover all bases in a way. For example you get called to a gig blind and you need a reliable workhorse that'll be able to do anything and work well.
-And 'Your' / signature bass means the bass that gives you YOUR tone, The one bit of wood that's your signature.

You can only put ONE bass for each category, no matter how much it might pain you!

'Go To' Bass:
'Your' Bass:

EDIT: Thanks for all the replies so far, please make sure you only give ONE bass for each answer, and that you answer all categories, otherwise I can't use your infos :)

'Your' Bass: G&L ASAT

Somehow relieved that so far most people seem to have the "Go to" and "Your" the same on this GAS-tastic forum!

First Bass Owned: Kay Rickenbacker copy
'Go To' Bass: Sei 5 string Jazz (tuned E-C)
'Your' Bass: Difficult one, my Wal Custom is probably "me" but it's only 4 string and I'm pretty much settled on the E-C 5 strings now. So from a tonal/sound perspective I'll say the Wal Custom as it's probably closest to what I want to sound like, however writing this down makes me feel I need to order a 5 string Wal fretted now to have the perfect "me" bass :)
