warwickhunt
OK. I've no idea where to start! I have a Boss digital recorder (BR???? 4/32 track thing) inherited from a predecessor. If I record my bass onto this and then transfer it as a wav file onto my PC what are the next stages to getting it turned into a loop OR/And uploaded? Go easy on me. ped
Hello mate, We are after drum loops and groves for playing along to more than bass loops but anything is welcome, someone can play over your bass loop and jam away! Basically if you can convert the .wav to an MP3 it will be smaller and easier to upload. You can then add it to an online hosting place (like with pictures) and send us the link via the forum or you can attach it to your post when you type the message. You simply click 'Browse' under the place where you type your message and upload the file. Then you have to select it from the 'manage current attachments' dropdown box where it will appear after being uploaded! Phew! A loop is created by getting the clip the right length and time signature - try recording to a 4/4 beat and playing a loop over and over again. You can then snip out a section and it can be downloaded and played on 'repeat' for people to use. I shouldn't worry too much about this part, just try uploading something to see if you can work it first. Cheers I hope this is some help... ped
