chuck_stones
Hi all, In anticipation of the collection of my new fretless bass this weekend, I'd like to offer up this little gem for sale or trade. Here's the Squier blurb: The no-pickguard, Three-color Sunburst finish is a classic, and the lightweight agathis body is home to a pair of single-coil Duncan Designed™ Jazz Bass pickups. The special one-piece maple neck has a fretless Ebonol fingerboard with white celluloid lines that let you know where you’re at! Other features include a four-saddle chrome bridge, and chrome hardware and machine heads. A nice bass which does what it says on the tin without too many bells or whistles. The bass is like new in terms of condition aside from a light bit of wear on the fingerboard where it came from the shop with round wounds (it was the last one, so had been played a bit with the roundwounds on). I changed the strings to a set of flatwounds which give a much better fretless tone and don't mark the fingerboard. No other knocks, bumps or dings to speak of. Not much else to say except it's a great little player, lovely fast neck with a nice light body and bags of mwaaah. In terms of trades, I'm open to anything of similar value that's not a jazz bass, or alternatively I'll sell for £180 delivered including a deluxe gig bag (bass also come with Schaler locking strap buttons, but originals can be provided if preferred).
