aido43
Sounds nice--on some songs could do with pushing bass further up front --its a bit muddy. Nice songs-well done.
mr.sibs
i think using mp3s doesnt help, there is a lot more clarity without any compression, even wav files have noticably better bottom end and head room, thanks for the insight though
bigjohn
i think using mp3s doesnt help, there is a lot more clarity without any compression, even wav files have noticably better bottom end and head room, thanks for the insight though
We've done different mixes to make mp3s with - that seems to help. You just need to experiment. It's unlikely that you'll get a mix that sounds great on a wav to compress sound the way you want it. Especially if the bass is big part of your sound. Our Mp3 mixes have the the bass tracks turned right up. Like your stuff though. V chilled.
paul, the
I'm (obviously) no authority on this, but the tracks aren't very clear; they're a bit quiet and distant. However, I love your tone on 'The Lights Went Down', what bass are you playing there? I think the line on 'The Only Way Out' is very tasteful, also. Great playing, mr. sibs.
