alhbass
Hi. I'm looking for a teacher to help me improve my entirely home-grown technique, and to teach me some funkier chops. I'm not an absolute beginner, and can read music etc (so I'm not looking for music theory lessons thanks) - but I ain't no Jaco! I'm quite commited to improving my playing, but ultimately I'm doing it for my own satisfaction, and for fun, so I'm not looking for anything too intense! Hoping to find someone local - I'm in York. Cheers, Al

I spend lots (my wife would say too many!) of my evenings travelling to Leeds for various musical things as it is. To have a realistic chance of fitting regular lessons in among my other commitments I think I need someone local. Thanks anyway.

timo
I was at uni in York until last year, I kept meaning to get lessons off Paul Baxter who did jazz stuff at the Black Swan and the Phoenix but I never got round to it.
