Hi,
Just putting the feelers out as contemplating a future project converting a Squire Bronco to mustang (well in style and part upgrades anyway!)

Before I take my thoughts any further Ive done a bit of google work, but cant find anywhere that does the mustang Bass pickguards, let alone in various colours!

Anyone know of anywhere?

cheers

Not a huge choice of colours, but Allparts do them here...

Cheers for the quick response but they are for the Fender Jaguar guitar with the 2 single coil pickups.

Im really after a black-white-black 3 ply bass version.

Anywhere else?
The only other place I can think of is Aurora.
They don't stock a Mustang scratchplate but they can make one from a template or the original and they don't charge extra for doing it!

The WD Music site in the USA has Mustang bass pickguards:

NB: they stock Squier, MIM and CIJ types. Maybe ask the guys in the UK office if they can source the appropriate choice and get it sent over. Or buy direct?

Cheers - just emailed WDmusic.co.uk to see what they say.

If i hear nothing ill give them a call as the available black bronco donor isnt available for very long!

Anyone know if the chrome plate where the jack socket and tone knobs go is a standard mustang guitar piece?

IME Aurora make pretty shoddy copies and when you ask for refunds they tend to go quiet and stop replying to e-mails...

no, the mustang bass plate one is a totally different shape to the mustang guitar one.
