[quote name='bassjamm' post='1134973' date='Feb 21 2011, 12:03 AM']Hi everyone...

Has anyone had any experience using an Orange Bass Terror head with any Ampeg cabs? In particular, an SVT610HLF?

Thanks in advance

I used a Terror into an Ampeg SVT 410HE & SVT 210AV. Sounded real nice.

A really good pairing, Orange & Ampeg - both seem to concentrate on nice warm low-mids, which = SOUND AS FAT AS HELL!

I use an Orange Terror into a SVT410HLF, love it - very old school sounding. I replaced my SVT Pro4 with the Orange terror as i found they sounded very simlar to my ears but with more obvious eq options with the Pro 4. :)

I have an orange terror bass and ampeg svt 610hlf and I must say it's does sound great. It is a big sounding bass rig and it look hilarious. I'd recommend it, not a patch on the svt classic though :P

I run a OTB 500 through an ampeg PF 410HLF and it sounds unreal, im actually looking to get an 1 15" portaflex extension cab. All in all my set up is really portable as its alot lighter than the SVT cabs but still gives out some serious punch. I need it as I have to carry both the head and the cab up and down 2 flights of stairs twice a week! and I only have a samll car.

I would consider having a look at the PF 410HLF if your looking for a rig tht is all portable.
