what effect please?

could someone please check out this video to my mates band and suggest what effect creates that bass sound? he's very hush hush on his setup.

Pretty cool song, might have to check out more of their stuff.

Sounds like a synth pedal to me, couldn't tell you which one or which settings though. I'd probably do it with an octaver, a LPF (Low Pass Filter) and some mild distortion, might add a phaser in there for good measure.
