Alien Posted January 29, 2008 Share Posted January 29, 2008 Dropped into my local pound shop to pick up some batteries this afternoon, and as I walked past the DVDs I spotted a right bargain. George Clinton Parliament/Funkadelic 'Mothership Connection'. Not my usual cuppa tea, but I do like to get a bit funky once in a while, and for a quid I'm not complaining. I've watched a couple of tracks, and I can tell you that the camera work is a bit iffy, but the music is KICKING! 15 songs, 83 minutes runtime, loads of genuine 70's funk lunacy. Over the years I must have bought 7 or 8 copies of this - because it's so cheap (and so good) I keep giving it away to friends who should watch it and buying another!
