JPS
The volume control on my Fender Precision has, erm, fallen off! Is there a simple and failsafe way to mend/replace it? I can place it back on, but it soon falls off again. Cheers
lettsguitars
wuuh? how could it just fall off? if you mean the knob, don't get me started (another story). just stick a knife in the split shaft and open them out a little before you shove it back on. if it's a screw in the side of the knob, screw it tight. i think you need a tiny allen key though. there are billions of fender owners on here who'll pop up in a second. change the title to 'precision knob prob!'. JPS
The rigours of the road man! Well, a lousy technique and being knocked over by the hoover (the bass not me) more likely.
willyf87
Well i'd say either push it on or screw it back on, unless you mean the pot, then i guess you'll need the soldering iron!!
