kingforaday Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 (edited) i've just bought a double bass but now i need to learn to play it properly before i damage myself! kinda hard cuz i can't keep my hands off it but i'm thinking some beginner dvd's are the way to go so i get off to a good start and get the absolute basics right i've seen the 'Essential Techniques For Acoustic Bass' todd phillips dvd's recommended so if anyone is ready to move them on i'm interested or let me know what else you've got/would recommend. They are very good for beginners and for the occasional reminder even for experienced players. How's £30 posted for the two? Chris

If you want, I can post it to you for you to watch. Keep it for a month to get the ideas down, and then just post it back to me when you're done with it.
