I don't think I've ever seen an example where at least one of the strings wasn't making contact with the angle of the headstock, and that can't be helping tuning stability at all. I suppose if you like the looks and the sound go for it, but to me this has got to be one of the clunkiest and awkward looking and feeling instruments of all time.
