Hot Tub Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 OK, to be fair, I probably wouldn't pay money for it! But, it's an absolute joy! The idea of a family getting together and making music is - to me - completely wonderful! This has made me quite happy. Quote
ahpook Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 sounds like a lot of fun girlfren and i have started jamming recently (she's started on violin lessons after a ~30 year hiatus, and me on guitar or bass), and it's a blast. if we ever get round to recording anything i'll let you folks hear it. Quote
Eight Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Damn. I got it wrong... I thought the answer to the question was 'jazz'. I jest of course... Quote
moonbass Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 If you'd told me this was Radiohead's next single, I'd probably have believed you! Quote

All of my family have had a go on musical instruments (mum and sister are actually any good at them) but never tried jamming, largely because we have completely different styles of music. Did you have super mario on in the background or something? Quote

It's the demo tune from the Yamaha PSS-680 keyboard (they used it on a few other models too, so it could be the 480 or something similar): As for family jammin'... love it. Keep it up. I have the occasional session with my 3-year-old on ukelele and me on either bass or swanee whistle (don't ask). Quote

I wouldn't pay either (and I don't think we could recreate it...!) Quote
thisnameistaken Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I really enjoyed it. That's what music is all about, social interaction. Quote
