4-string-thing Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) After a couple of years of my Stagg gathering dust in my music room, I've decided that the upright is not for me after all. And that with the constant earache about space etc I've decided to move on the upright beauty! So, its in "as new" condition, metallic black with original strings etc and is completely unmarked except for the fingerboard which has some lines under the strings (I expect all upright basses have these after a bit of use) It's never been gigged and has had very little home use. I've made a stand for it from a lighting tripod and this seems to work ok and will include it in the sale. It comes with its original gig bag too. It doesn't seem to suffer from the battery problems that some of them have, nor does the end pin rattle inside. Great bass for someone looking to dabble in the world of upright without spending shed-loads.... Looking for £250 collected. Will deliver within 30 miles or so for petrol money.
