You already have a nice looking Jazz, as shown in your avatar. Would the Jim Deacon be a backup? Would it be a cheapie for a project? My only experience with a Jim Deacon instrument was trying out a six string LP clone. It was OK, but switching to a Tokai ALS48, which is still a fairly low end LP clone, it seemed that the Tokai was a better instrument.
