Dean bass

Hi all,
I have this Dean 4 string bass which i bought from a friend a few years back, the thing is i have no idea of it's model, history or value, all it has is the Dean logo on the headstock, i think it was bought in the early 90's but not sure.

Any info would be much appreciated thanks.

It's a Dean DB91 i reckon if it's passive, if it's active then i think it's a Dean DB94.

I had the passive one, nice enough bass. Bought it for £90 and sold it for £45 and four packs of Elites!

Oh btw the DB91 retailed for £269 and the DB94 for £375

Thanks guy's, yes the bass is active with volume, blend, bass, treble pots, although i do not play this bass much now if at all its interesting stuff.

That bass is the DB95, active 5er with gold hardware.
It retailed for £400 so the seller is possibly being a little optimistic with the price tag. It's also not a "custom shop", it's a Korean bass. Kinda think he's trying to mug someone into buying what they think is a USA custom instrument in that listing.

One thing to note with these basses is the inlays which, although they look impressive from a couple of metres away, are quite sloppily done and look cheap close up.
