Floyd Pepper Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) I've finally come to the point where I realise that all I ever play is my Fender Jazz. Originally, I bought this as a backup but it just doesn't get played. It's a 1996 MIJ Fender Precision Bass which I believe is based on the 50's Reissue. In addition, it carries a sticker on the back of the headstock denoting the Fender 50th Anniversary. It's a beautiful Candy Apple Red with Maple neck and it currently has a black pickguard but it will also come supplied with a matt white one too. It also comes with a nice tweed case with red lining. (no name case). Although I've never gigged it, it did come with a few dings on the body (lower horn, top horn, near neck join, top edge of the body near cutaway and a small mark on the upper face of the body). In addition, at some point, it has had both a 13 hole and a 14 hole pickguard attached so there are holes in place for both under the current 13 hole pickguard. Thanks, Jim Edited March 16, 2011 by Floyd Pepper
Floyd Pepper Posted February 28, 2011 Author Posted February 28, 2011 Just to clarify, no trades for this as I'm going to use the (potential) funds for another project. Cheers, Jim
cameltoe Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I love this bass and am absolutely gassing for an MIJ.
