BigRedX Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Damn! If that wasn't pickup only I'd have bought it already. Quote

lemmywinks Posted February 27, 2011 Author Posted February 27, 2011 Even though they say pickup only sellers often post items if you ask, especially if you arrange the courier. It's worked for me pretty much every time! Quote
Bassassin Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Worth asking, this is a very good price for one of these, they are getting increasingly hard to find. Great basses too, if you don't mind some funny looks & a bit of neck dive. This one's exactly the same as mine! Jon. Quote
lemmywinks Posted February 28, 2011 Author Posted February 28, 2011 Someone's stuck a bid on it! I bet it goes for more than the BIN, especially if the seller decides to post. Quote
waldemar Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Oh man I want this so much! Can see it fetching a silly price... Quote

Can see it fetching a silly price...[/quote] Ahem... It's mine! Probably payed a bit over the odds, but I've wanted one for a while. Hard case and decent gig-bag included - bonus! The odd ding here and there, nothing too nasty, though. Set-up feels very shop fresh, ie. original strings and too high on the action, but I'll sort it out soon enough. Jon, despite appearances I'm really not copying you mate..!!! (BTW, the CLS has gone to Steve Robinson for a fret dress/set-up. P-ups that went in eventually were Fender '62 re-issues - got them to fit in the original covers too (with a bit of persuasion from my Dremel). Also managed to get hold of a Schaller 3D. I'll stop at the stacked pots, though ) EDIT: Oh yeah, hearing you on the neck-dive. Haha! Edited March 8, 2011 by waldemar Quote
