geoff90guitar
An early model GP11 around mid late 80’s. I think it’s a MK 4. More of a battleship than the flagship with massive components. The X means that it has a crossover, a high out and low out. It’s exactly as the AH250 with the addition of 150W. in that the amp has two different output channels. Channel B delivers a thumping 250watts into a 4ohm load full range and Channel A, a further 150watts into 8 ohms which is high pass, above 250HZ only. The 1818X cabinet sold at the time was designed to match the amp. Two of these cabs would be the ultimate but who has roadies these days. Any decent 8 ohm cab will give you a great full bodied bass sound through channel B, double the speakers up with another 8 ohm load and wow. Don’t confuse this amp with the weedy SMX . In excellent working order and very quiet. XLR – jack speaker lead included. Please email for further pics inside (couldn't load anymore, which are of the transformer orig wiring etc inside) there may be nothing inside but I assure you it is all there as original - some sellers may not reveal all! I want £260 for the amp - you won't be disappointed!Prefer collection because of weight but will post if necessary for £20 including insurance . Cheers

plankspanker
Thanks for that - I'm thinking about it because I really like TE stuff - but there's so much of it on this forum and on Ebay it's difficult to choose.

From the Trace MK VI onwards, theres not much inside - clever eh? I know which amp I would be heard with out there. Check out 'Harmony Central' on the web, amp comments. plankspanker
Would you be interested in a swap involving a 6u SKB rack, a Peavey CS800s power amp (600W per side@2 ohms) and an Ashdown RPM1 preamp?

johnDeereJack
Didn't you flog this head on ebay recently for £250odd or am I completely mistaken?
Conan
Oooh, that brought back memories! Looks exactly the same as my old (bought in 1986) AH250. Lovely amp. Wish I'd never moved it on! Great price BTW. Incidentally, what is the output through the full range output? Does it develop the full 350 watts?
