maybe I got you wrong, but there is no "string through body" option on the sandberg bridge.

Ah i see that now from the photo, i thought it would be the California bridge but its not. Doh!

It is the california bridge.

but the californias are not string through body :)

Yeah! I think so, too...
I´m saving some money for a NOLL-EQ right now.
NOLL is a german company that makes very high quality eq´s (just like Glockenklang, but less HIFI) for a very reasonable price.
the center frequencies are 4khz for the treble knob and 80hz for the bass knob.
I think these frequencies will fit the stingray sound very well!
If I really built that eq in my Pingray, I will do a little review here.
the preamp also has a active/passiv switch, which is very nice because in this way I can
also have that classic precision sound on the neckpickup in passive.
