Bass Awkward Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Interesting, what's the string spacing? It's really easy to measure, just take a ruler to the strings, and measure from the centre of one string to the next - do this at the bridge (for the bridge spacing - the most often quoted), at the nut (for the nut spacing) and at the 12th fret (this spacing can be worked out from the other two, but most of us don't have the formulae or charts from which this might be deduced. God luck, I'm sure you'll find a home for it. Btw, how is your Stagg EUB for bowing? And is the intonation regular up the fingerboard?

Should have thought of that, eh. Of course it must be. Silly me.

The EUB playing is going well, I have a cheap bow which is okay but I don't really practice it enough to make a decent sound. On the 6 string bass side of the things...the string spacing at the 12th fret and bridge end is 19mm and at the nut it is 10mm. I hope all is well your end
Dave Holden Posted May 21, 2011 Author Posted May 21, 2011 A massive bump! I have just bought 2 new basses and could really do with eating next month, and paying rent for that matter Bass can also be collected from Plymouth in a few weeks time if so desired Cheers Dave
Dave Holden Posted May 21, 2011 Author Posted May 21, 2011 Will also post the bass now!! I'm happy to post over seas
jackyc123 Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Any chance of a cheeky price drop for a stagnant market? oh and BUMP!
jackyc123 Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Are there any better pics of this bass in a well lit area?
Crosshash Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 This is an amazing price for a fantastic bass - I own one. I don't know if I'll ever sell it. I have yet to play a bass which has as much tonal variety, playability and bang for buck
Dave Holden Posted May 28, 2011 Author Posted May 28, 2011 Cheers Crosshash, I will be sorry to see this one go. Awesome bass!
FLoydElgar Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Guys who read the posts... This is a must have bass for anyone who wants a top classed 6 string! Great price Good Luck Dave enjoy Uni!
ChTBoner Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 (edited) Can't agree more with the previous posts. I owned one, I never should have sold it. In this price range, you will hardly find a better 6 string bass. Edited May 28, 2011 by ChTBoner
