Recording to PC

Hi Guys

I want to record my Bass to PC and was wondering if this little gadget would do the trick:

I think it comes with Audacity.

What else would I need? DO I need a different cable/interface or do you just plug your bass in with a guitar lead?

Also, if you think I should get somthing different what would you recommend?

That's for running between a mixer and PC.

You need something like the Behringer GUITAR LINK UCG102 Guitar to USB Interface

(just google it to find a supplier.)

There are better than Behringer but they are ok.
