hillbilly deluxe Posted March 7, 2011 Share Posted March 7, 2011 It is,there are 2 quality types of SX though,the starter pack are of a lesser quality than the regular SX/Jim Deacons,and there are more options with the SX branded ones. hillbilly deluxe Posted March 7, 2011 Share Posted March 7, 2011 I might add that some of the older ones were exactly the same as Stagg models.i have an older Stingray copy like this and it is really good quality.The Jim Deacon/Stagg models have satin laquer on the necks whereas the newer Jim deacons mostly have a gloss laquer.
